IMPORTANT NOTICE

"Due to the lack of public interest in sincere encouragement and a personal perspective of life as one of Jehovah's Witness, I am ceasing my work on this cite. It is clear to me that in today's ambivalent and emotionally numbing world that my responsibility lies with my own family and it is towards my own family that I now will focus. While this site was never brought forth in order to reap the applause of men, it has also failed to reach those who sincerely wish to make informed decisions about any religion they may join. Most individuals would rather allow others to make their decisions for them, or be swayed by the opinions of others: it neither is nor ever was the intention of this site to do either. Enabling others to make their own decisions, and then trusting that their Bible-trained conscience would guide them in the correct path should be a goal we all have in common, directing no person to anyone but Christ and our heavenly Father, Jehovah God-- never to any organization or church that originates with men."

Web Changes

This is where I'll announce the most recent additions to the web site. If you've visited here before and want to know what's changed, take a look here first.

October 19, 2000: "Due to the lack of public interest in sincere encouragement and a personal perspective of life as one of Jehovah's Witness, I am ceasing my work on this cite. June 20, 2000: I've relocated the Question Book to its own site. You can go there now using http://go.to/qbonline URL. The search feature is active there, as well. Further adjustments towards simplifying the project will take place there.

June 18, 2000: The Question Book project is complete where the subjects are concerned. While I still need to do sub-topics of each subject, the work itself is now online in its entirety. The final adjustments to the project will not occur until a suitable website is located for the Question Book to exist as its own site for searching purposes. The goal, of course, is to have the Question Book available online much like a dictionary/encyclopedia for those doing research (which is why I want the Search engine working!)... Watch this space for future developments regarding the relocation of the Question Book.

June 15, 2000: I've finally made it! The Question Book Project is nearly completed now with the posting of subjects A-Z now online for everyone to peruse. I've still got some further discussions to post, but this now means that the first 740 pages are online in easy-to-read topics. Enjoy!

June 6, 2000: I'm in the process of posting Charles Taze Russell's Question Book, which is very similar to our current Reasoning from the Scriptures and Questions From Readers. It has been interesting reading as I placed it in a readable online format for anyone remotely curious as to what the Society was teaching and believing back then... The "A" topics are completely online. NOTE: There are a few topics which have more than one question addressed, so be sure to scroll down through the information...

June 5, 2000: I've had numerous problems trying to access the site on Tripod's servers so I decided to move it to a larger server for now. I've taken advantage of the opportunity by updating a few things, too. I hope this succeeds in making the site more user-friendly... Among the additions, you'll find more personal papers I wrote during the Summer/Fall of 1999 that dealt with the issues centermost to my own "crisis of faith." You'll find them here.

I've also finally put online the segment exploring "community responsibility," although I'm going to post it in parts rather than wait until the whole paper is finished. Again, all writings posted and written by me are not edited yet, and are primarily for my own consumption. The reason I am posting them at all is in case there is someone out in the cyberworld who might be able to relate to my troubles or knows someone else that could benefit from the experiences.

May 26, 2000: I've posted the .pdf formats of the "Propaganda" articles so that guests can download them for offline, easier-to-read viewing. Adobe's Acrobat Reader, which is free, is required and can be obtained at www.adobe.com

May 23, 2000: The 4-part series discussing the June 22, 2000, Awake! magazine's evaluation of "Propaganda" is now posted in its entirety. If you would like to peruse the material, click here.
